Raise money for your organization using this volunteer driven fundraising campaign (similar to the Girl Guides program). Volunteers can easily sell these delicious Canadian-made dog treats to their friends, family, and people in their neighborhoods for a good cause…your rescue/shelter! Each volunteer only has to commit to selling ONE case, but for each box of cookies sold, you help more animals in need

How It Works

STEP 1: PRE-CAMPAIGN PROMO

  • Cookie Coordinators will organize volunteers and explain the program. We provide you with the strategy!
  • Your Rescue Network partnership gives you access to all the marketing materials for your campaign
  • Recruit more volunteers using the materials provided

STEP 2: ORDER

  • Ordering is available online/phone until October 10, 2017
  • Submit a bulk order at wholesale price, or participating volunteers can place individual orders at retail.
  • Cases (12 boxes) are available for $120 each (HST & shipping incl.). Rescue Network donates 30-40% from each case to your organization (Ask Us How!)

STEP 3: RECEIVE SHIPMENT

  • Cookies are shipped to your central shipping location by November 24, 2017
  • Cookie Coordinators arrange for pickup or delivery of cookies with volunteers

STEP 4: SALES CAMPAIGN

  • Organizations should sell during Rescue Network’s established timeline, but cookies can be sold on an ongoing basis
  • Cookies are $10 per box and are only available from participating volunteers and organizations beginning December 1, 2017
  • Cookie Coordinators collect any outstanding funds owed

FAQ’s

Can we return any unsold boxes or cases for a refund?
No, boxes or cases cannot be returned to Rescue Network. However, cookies can be sold on an ongoing basis, up until the best before date.
Is there a designated campaign time period for selling the cookies?
No. However, organizations can establish a specific sales deadline for their volunteers, or cookies can be sold on an ongoing basis.
Do you have any tips to make our campaign a success?
Definitely! To make your campaign a success, we recommend the following tips:
1. Recruit reliable and enthusiastic volunteers of all ages
2. Promote Rescue Cookies on social media
3. Get local media involved
4. Encourage local businesses, schools and community groups to participate
5. Excite your volunteers, set goals and/or encourage friendly competitions
What is the expected shelf life of Rescue Cookies?
One year from the date of manufacturing. A best before date is specified on the bottom of each box.
Can we sample the cookies before placing an order?
No, but since the recipe was crafted by industry experts and the cookies are made with organic ingredients, you can feel good selling Rescue Cookies knowing that dogs’ health and well-being is always top of mind. The cookies have also been sampled by multiple dogs with positive results!
Are the cookies healthy?
Absolutely! The cookies are peanut free, GMO free, with no artificial colours or preservatives. The cookies are 100% Canadian-made with organic ingredients.
How much money goes towards our organization? Where does the rest of the money go?
For every box of cookies sold at $10.00:
• $3.00 goes to the participating rescue, shelter or animal welfare organization
• $2.50 goes to Rescue Network to cover the costs of marketing materials, program develop and payment processing
• $1.50 goes to cover applicable taxes and shipping
• $3.00 goes to the cookie manufacturer for manufacturing and packaging costs

They are 100% Canadian-made with organic ingredients.
Can we order more cookies after the campaign deadline?
No, but you can start planning for the next Rescue Cookies campaign. Rescue Network offers Rescue Cookies bi-annually with unique recipes for the spring and fall campaigns.
What is a Cookie Coordinator?
A Cookie Coordinator is the rescue organization’s designated representative for all communication and organizational duties during the Rescue Cookie Campaign. He or she is responsible for ensuring Volunteer Agreement forms are signed and returned, arranging for transport of cookies from the central distribution location, and maintaining accurate records of products sold and monies collected during the campaign.
